Introducing, my new addiction…
Gosh, its just horrible, the things which rule my life…. 😉
But really, those flaxseed crackers are vegan, yummy, healthy, have no carbs to amount to anything,
are gluten free,
And are just the simplest to prepare.
All you need to do, to make these simple vegan flaxseed crackers is,
Mix, pour into a pan,
And Into the oven it goes for several hours – depending on the heat you choose.
The final and most important step, is of course to – CRUNCH and MUNCH!
But that would not be a problem.
You can flavor them with your favorite spice,
Add powdered onions or powdered garlic,
Add any kind of seeds,
such as poppyseed, sesame, or caraway seeds etc.
You can even add dehydrated tomatoes, or peppers or a mix of those.
These flaxseed crackers are an amazing addition to any green salad,
Served up with a smooth guacamole, or a cheese dip,
Or even just with fresh tomatoes mixed with a touch of lemon juice mmmmm
I ate them up as is if they were “Gachnun” (a Yemenite specialty).
( if you ever ate Gachnun you would know just what a treat these are )
And,
Since they are made with this superfood- flaxseeds, they can help with digestion,
help prevent constipation, etc.
So, if I may be blunt, the end result is satisfying too 😉
In summary, those flaxseed crackers are a super vegan, keto, paleo recipe!
Here you can see the flaxseeds the moment I poured and mixed them into the water.
Here is the flaxseed/water mixture after soaking for about 10 minutes.
You can see its expanded and a bit gelatinous.
