Spelt baked babka, without any yeast, ohh my,
I am almost sorry I ever tried this recipe…
It is so good I just can’t stop making it and…eating it.
My only excuse is it is relatively healthy since it is yeast free, and made of spelt.
Even though there went my hour glass figure.
As if… 😉
But, spelt really is a healthier grain and no yeast, well, it is better.
The variety of fillings you can put in this babka are almost endless.
The base will always stay the same vegan yeast less self.
